This 3-day camel trekking adventure takes you deep into the Moroccan Sahara from the desert village of M’Hamid, where the road ends and the real journey begins. Walk alongside experienced nomads, explore untouched dunes like Erg Lihoudi or Erg Zahar, and experience life in the desert with traditional meals and nights spent under the stars or in Berber tents. Perfect for those seeking a short but immersive desert experience, this trek offers breathtaking landscapes, cultural encounters, and total peace.

Day 1: M’Hamid – Sidi Naji

Depart from M’Hamid after breakfast with your camel caravan. Trek through rocky and sandy terrain to reach the sacred site of Sidi Naji, an old marabout (saint’s tomb) in the heart of the desert. Enjoy lunch in the shade of tamarisk trees and camp nearby. Dinner and overnight in a nomadic tent or under the stars.

Day 2: Sidi Naji – Erg Zahar

Continue the trek toward Erg Zahar, one of the most beautiful and untouched dunes in the region. This part of the journey offers silence, endless dunes, and spectacular views. Watch the sun set over the golden sand, then enjoy dinner and music around the fire. Overnight in a desert camp.

Day 3: Erg Zahar – M’Hamid

After breakfast, begin the return trek to M’Hamid. Enjoy the last moments of desert silence before arriving back in the village around midday. Optional shower and lunch available upon arrival.
