4 Days Sahara Desert Trekking

- Itinerary
Day 1: M’Hamid – to bertam
Departure from M’hamid, at the gateway to the desert, early in the morning with our camel drivers and their dromedaries for a crossing of the desert landscapes. After a few hours of walking, we will stop for a picnic in the shade. After a moment of rest, we will resume our walk to ERG BERTAM We will set up our bivouac there for an evening and a night under the stars or in a tent, depending on the temperature and the season.
Day 2:bertam– talhatin
Those who leave the tent early can greet the new day at sunrise in the dunes. Afterwards, we enjoy our first breakfast in the Sahara. Meanwhile, the team begins dismantling the camp and, refreshed, we set off towards Kriat Jmal. We pass a well and watch the dromedaries fill their humps with water. Today, the kitchen team will once again treat us to a delicious lunch on the way. After the break, the trail leads us to the next campsite. After dinner, the sound of drums and the crackling of the fire accompany the breathtaking atmosphere of the Sahara.
Day 3: talhatin – erg ait onir
Those who wish can start the day with a picturesque sunrise or by sleeping in. After breakfast, we break camp, load the dromedaries and set off on the next stage of our journey to Ait Ounir. Of course, we will be treated to another delicious lunch before continuing on to our sleeping quarters. Another highlight awaits you in the evening. You can watch how sand bread is baked and you will be amazed that it doesn’t crunch when you eat it.
Day 4: Return to M’Hamid
After breakfast, begin the trek back to M’Hamid. Enjoy your final steps through the Sahara and return around midday..
